We’re delighted to announce that Exobiz is joining the team at MYOB where we’ll play a key role helping ERP customers through its new direct sales and service channel launched in May for mid-market customers.
Our acquisition marks the start of an exciting shift in momentum for MYOB as we work with them to leverage our years of development expertise to help expand the growth of the Advanced and Exo ERP platforms.
Our roles as an Advanced and Exo Platinum Partner, Advanced Premium Development Partner and Exo Development Partner - together with our innovative Beyond Suite and ERP addon products-placed us in an ideal position to work with MYOB as it accelerates its delivery of cloud-based ERP solutions. We’ll be joined in this new venture by Axsys, another Australian-based company and MYOB enterprise solutions partner.
MYOB’s general manager for enterprise, Kim Clarke, acknowledged that Exobiz’s skills and experience will play a key role in enabling MYOB’s growth ambitions by boosting the sales and support channel.

Exobiz was chosen to join the MYOB team because of our depth of knowledge, strong development capability and long history in the MYOB business partner community. We started working with MYOB in the early days of Exo in 2005 and grew with the community as Advanced was added in 2015.
Following this acquisition, our leadership in design and development will continue as Steve Aish, our co-founder and Chief Technology officer, steps up to lead MYOB’s ERP migration development team.
Steve said the acquisition is testament to the level of quality and innovation demonstrated by the business over the last 16 years.

What does this mean for Exobiz customers?
We’ve already received positive feedback from our customers who’ve said our integration into the MYOB team is a vote of confidence in Exobiz, and that MYOB’s close alignment with platform experts, such as ourselves, is a good move. And we agree – our years of close relationships with customers gives us a unique perspective that will help to inform future developments for MYOB Advanced and Exo.
On a practical level, since being officially acquired, we are making a steady and careful transition which will take place over the next few months. The support, software and IT experience that our customers currently receive will remain unchanged, right down to the people answering the phone.
As our teams come together, we’ll work closely to understand our current and future customers’ support requirements to ensure they continue to receive the high standard of service we have always delivered. However, in the meantime, its business as usual.
